What is dry oil?
A dry oil is made up of a mixture of oils which does not leave a greasy feel and helps to deeply nourish the skin. Unlike a moisturizer, dry oil does not provide water but acts as a shield to prevent the evaporation of the water that makes up the skin. It is therefore complementary to a moisturizing cream and will make the skin more comfortable and softer.
Dry oils can be composed of mineral oils and vegetable oils. Mineral oils are synthetic ingredients, while vegetable oils are oils of natural origin. The latter are obtained from renewable natural resources and have multiple properties of their own: they can be nourishing, softening, regenerating, softening or even healing.
At Margot&Tita, we have chosen to formulate our dry oils from vegetable oils. In fact, 3 vegetable oils make up our dry oils : organic apricot oil, jojoba oil and sweet almond oil.
How to properly apply dry oil?
Margot&Tita perfumed dry oils can be used on the face, body or hair . For the face and body, simply heat the dry oil between your hands then apply it with circular massages on the skin, to make it penetrate and deeply nourish the skin. A dry oil can be used on any skin type, at any age and all year round. On the hair, dry oil is used as a treatment on the lengths and ends to enhance the hair fiber and provide suppleness and shine.
Each dry oil for body, face and hair is delicately scented to envelop you in a bubble of softness and well-being:
- Weekend in Arcachon dry oil with solar accords of mandarin, coconut and ylang-ylang.
- Weekend au Ferret dry oil , with sunny and delicious notes of orange blossom, almond and vanilla.
- Weekend in Paradise dry oil , with delicate notes of coconut, tiare flower and vanilla.
They also exist in an oil and perfume box to create a complete perfume routine.
